About Us

Welcome to our community, where we embrace our identity as the body of Christ. Together, we are a group of imperfect individuals serving our perfect Creator. We prioritize Bible study, corporate worship services, and spiritual edification, all while striving to bring others to Jesus.

Join us as we grow in faith and support one another on this journey.

Our Story

Our story is simply an extension of the story told in the second chapter of Acts:  During Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descends on the apostles, manifesting as tongues of

fire and enabling them to speak in various languages. Witnessing this, Peter addresses the

crowd, explaining the events as fulfillment of prophecy and emphasizing Jesus’ life,

crucifixion, and resurrection. His powerful message convinces about 3,000 people to repent,

get baptized, and join the community of believers ( The Church). This marks the beginning of the early church, characterized by a strong devotion to the apostles' teachings, fellowship, communal living, and prayer. The believers share their possessions, support one another, and gather regularly in the temple and homes. This period sees a rapid and continuous growth of the church, with new members joining daily, setting a strong foundation for the Christian faith.

This is what our family of believers here in Marina tries to uphold and live by:

Love God and love each other.

The best and most perfect guide to living into the purpose that God has created mankind for is the Living word of God. It is only through God's Word that He has illuminated our path to be in right relationship with Him and with each other. That path is His Son, Jesus Christ.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING WORSHIP

Our corporate worship service Sunday mornings consist of a greeting to the assembled church, prayers led by members, acapella singing, remembering the death of Jesus in taking of communion, a time for the church family to contribute financially, a bible lesson brought by the preacher and an opportunity for those present to request support from the church.

We would love to worship together with you!
